Knisper is the software engine powering our audio solutions on any platform. Its patented technology modulates sound to meet each individual's personal hearing needs, using the same parameters audiologists use to improve hearing.

Our Mission

02

Our mission

Hearing loss distorts people's ability to communicate and therefore to connect with their family, friends and loved ones. It can result in social isolation, cognitive health issues and can lead to depression. Our mission is to prevent this from happening, by helping people who are experiencing hearing loss to continue to be able to communicate with others and in doing so improve the quality of their lives dramatically.

Accessibility

"500M people world wide (going up to almost 1B people in 2050) are experiencing disabling hearing loss. Unaddressed hearing loss has far reaching functional, social and emotional impact and poses an annual global cost of US$ 750 billion. Due to practical, stigmatic and financial barriers more than 80 percent (83%) of those who could benefit from use of a hearing aid are not using one."

History

In 1990 the Americans with Disabilities Act was introduced in the United States, followed in 2006 by the adoption by the United Nations of the Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. More recently the European Commission presented the Strategy for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030. All three are major steps in battling discrimination of people with disabilities, underlining the importance of inclusion and an important call to arms to improve accessibility for people.

Who we are

AUDUS Technologies was founded by Marciano Ferrier, a prominent ENT doctor from The Netherlands. Singularly dedicated to serving hearing-impaired patients, he sought the best technology to help them. Increasingly frustrated by the lack of innovation within the hearing aid industry, he took matters into his own hands. In collaboration with likeminded ENT doctors, audiologists, and helped by seasoned tech entrepreneurs, Ferrier patented this groundbreaking technology that makes it possible to modify the sound of any internet connected device.
